Terry E. Anderson, 68 of rural Northboro, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.  No public services are planned at this time.  A private family burial will take place, at the Houser Cemetery.

Terry Evans Anderson, was born January 10, 1954 to Robert E. Anderson and Beverly Joan (Kemper) Anderson Brooks in Clarinda, Iowa.  Terry entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 26, 2022, Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. At the age of 68 years, and 16 days.

Terry attended grade school in Coin and then finished his education in College Springs, graduating from South Page in 1972.

He spent most of his life in the Coin area.  Following his father’s passing, he moved to Shenandoah then returned to the farm in 1977.

On October 28, 1977, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Houchin at the Methodist Church in Riverton, Iowa.  They began their married life on the family farm near Coin, and to this union a son was born, Robert Edward Anderson.

Terry worked for Eaton Corporation for 25 years and farmed something that he truly loved.  He loved to hunt, fish, go to races in Topeka.  Terry also enjoyed watching the History Channel, and any Gun or Car shows.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents Robert Anderson and Beverly Joan Anderson Brooks; grandparents Herbert and Pearl Kemper, Charlie and Louise Anderson; stepfather Harold Brooks; sister-in-law Joanna Anderson; brother-in-law Bill Houchin; parent in laws Ed and Ethel Mae Houchin.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kathy Anderson of rural Coin, IA; son Robert Anderson of Essex, IA; grandson Braydon Anderson of Coin, IA; brother Gary Anderson of Shenandoah, IA; uncle Larry Anderson of Shenandoah, IA; Aunt Karin Anderson of Carrollton, TX; brother-in-law Gene (Miriam) Houchin of Shenandoah, IA; step brothers Bruce (Kathy) Brooks of Marietta, OK, Chuck (Claudia) Brooks of Farragut, IA; step sister Joyce Supernaw of Shenandoah, IA; niece, nephews and many friends.
