Bobby (Criss) Conyac, 66,  son of Hector Levi Conyac, Jr. and Iva Louise (Green) Conyac, was born on July 28, 1953, in San Diego, California.  He unexpectedly entered into eternal peace on Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2020 at his rural Blanchard, Iowa home at the age of 66 years, 11 months, 7 days.

Funeral services for Criss will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 10:30 am at Nishna Valley Funeral Home in Shenandoah.   The family will greet relatives and friends with visitation from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, July 8, 2020.  Social distancing regulations must be adhered too.  Burial will take place in the Sidney Cemetery.  Memorials are being directed to the Family.

Most of his early life was spent growing up in southwest Iowa.  He started school in Syracuse, Nebraska and the family moved around for a time living in the communities of Riverton, Coin, Northboro and Shenandoah, Iowa.  At the beginning of Criss' sixth grade year the family settled in Coin, and he graduated from South Page High School with the Class of 1971.

On September 6, 1975, Criss was united in marriage to Delores Ann Driever at Sidney, Iowa.  They made their home in Coin. They were blessed with three daughters, Alesa, Callie and Dana.  After 35 years of marriage, sadly, Delores passed away June 11, 2010.

Through the years Criss worked various jobs throughout southwest Iowa.  The one job he loved was working at Nishna Productions in Shenandoah. It was his passion to help others and he worked thirty years at Nishna Productions from 1987 until retiring in 2017 as a vocational support staff member.

Family was everything to Criss.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and kids whenever possible. In his solitary moments he enjoyed watching television and especially watching game shows.  He also loved to fish.  He enjoyed getting out and going to local farm ponds and anywhere he thought might be the next best fishing hole.

Preceding Criss in death were his parents and wife, Delores.  Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Alesa Conyac and her fiancé James McDowell of Creston, IA, Callie Conyac of Shenandoah, IA and Dana Johnson and husband Eric of Shenandoah, IA; nine grandchildren; sister, Marcee Bisbee of Shenandoah, IA; brother, Chip Conyac and wife Chris of Lampe, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
