Ronnie Ray (Bud) Mount of Shenandoah, Iowa passed away at Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, Iowa on March 10, 2019.  Bud was born in the Hamburg Hospital on December 2nd 1934, the son of Charley (Dude) Mount and Marie Ruth (Scott) Mount.  He attended High Crick Country School and later graduated from Farragut High school, class of 1952.

On March 10th, 1953 he was united in marriage to Beverly Jo Booker and to this union three children were born: Rhonda Marie, Rebecca Sue and Ricky Ray.

He began farming with his father at a very early age and continued with his brother, son, daughter–in-law and grandsons until he couldn’t climb the combine ladder anymore. He enjoyed turkey shoots and every kind of hunting, but he especially like fishing everywhere from “Alaska to Florida”.

In 1976 Beverly died and he later married Sally Plummer until they divorced. He then married Carolyn Fichter in 1984 until she passed in 2015.

Bud is preceded in death by; sisters, Rose and Shirley, step brother Garry, step-sister, Charlene and granddaughter Laura. He is survived by his children; Rhonda Hockabout, Omaha, NE, Rebecca Kincannon, Aurora, MO and Ricky and Cindy, Farragut, Iowa. 6 grandchildren; Brian Sell, Omaha, NE, Sarah (Patrick”) Trausch Omaha, NE, Jessica (Joshua) Forester, Verona, MO, Melissa (James) Sanders, Republic, MO, Clint (Julie) Mount, Farragut, Ia and Dean(Shelly) Mount , Riverton, IA. 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. 4 stepdaughters; Carla (Todd) Androy, Fremont, NE, Michelle Fichter, Farragut, IA, Cathy Fichter and Tony Songer, Farragut, IA and Melissa (Todd) Bonnes, Shenandoah, IA; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held  on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Utterback Cemetery near Riverton, Iowa.  Lunch and fellowship with the family will follow at the Rick and Cindy Mount Home, 3535 250th St, Farragut, Iowa.  Memorials in Bud’s name are being directed to the Utterback Cemetery.
