Her early life began in Long Beach until the family moved to Port Huron, Michigan in 1964 as her father served in the Navy. The family would later make several moves, in 1966 to Presidio Army Base in San Francisco, California and in 1969 to Oakland (Alameda), California and in 1971 to Waukegan, Illinois. She also worked overnight at the Earl May Distribution Center for a few years. There were also a few seasonal jobs throughout her life she worked.
If you knew Rhonda, you knew she was very intrigued by the paranormal. Most nights were spent watching shows of the paranormal, with her favorite being Ghost Adventures. She often talked about going to stay in a haunted building to see if she could catch sight of a ghost.
