Kevin Lee Wilson, 48, of Quinlan, Texas and formerly of Shenandoah went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Quinlan.

Born on January 3, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri, Kevin is the son of Judy (Hines) Wilson and the late Jack Wilson. As a young boy, he enjoyed swimming and participating in Cub Scouts and Cubs baseball. He had many fond memories of growing up on West Thomas Avenue in Shenandoah where he spent a lot of time with the “Three Amigos” consisting of himself, Michael Ludwig and Michael LeVere. He attended the Shenandoah Community Schools and graduated from Shenandoah High School with the Class of 1988. He played junior high football and basketball and high school varsity football for the Mustangs and was also involved in concert and marching band (snare drum and percussion).

In 2000 Kevin moved to Texas and went to work for Fujitec America (working on and installing elevators) where he worked until his passing. On April 11, 2011, he married Chastity Baker.

Riding his Harley Davidson was something he loved. He found it to be his “release”. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing, boating and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He liked to watch sports, NASCAR and football – especially his favorite teams, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Chastity Wilson of Quinlan, TX; mother, Judy Wilson of Shenandoah, IA; five sons, Cory Archer and wife Karly of Shenandoah, IA, Cody Freeman of Hurst, TX, Tristan Tidwell and Cheyenne Albin of Midlothian, TX, Cayden Freeman of Quinlan, TX, Jake and Bailey Carmack of Cypress, TX; daughter, Destiny Freeman of Quinlan, TX; brother, Timothy Michael Wilson of Bedford, IA; sister, Lisa Annette French of Shenandoah, IA; four grandchildren, Zakcory, Zeven, Caiden and Kaileigh; numerous other relatives and many friends.
